Specializing in Chesapeake Bay light tackle fishing at it’s finest!
I have been fortunate enough to be the longest running full-time light tackle fishing guide in southern MD. Started guiding in the year 2000 and rolling full time at over 200 trips a year since 2004. With 25 years guiding experience out of the Solomon’s, MD region no other guide knows and understands these waters better all year round. Jan thru March is chasing giant Stripers in the open bay and Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant. April-Jun is all shallow water chasing Speckled Sea Trout and Stripers. Summer time July-Oct is a mix of shallow and open water for Stripers, Blues, Specks,. giant Redfish and possible Cobia. Oct-Nov is remote shallow water catching of Stripers, Specks and possible Reds. December begins the hunt for giant Stripers in the open water.
I typically launch from Beacon Marina at 260 Lore Road, Solomon’s MD. Time of launch depends on current weather and fish catching patterns.
Full Day (8-9 hours): $825, up to 4 anglers, $900 for a 5th angler
Half Day (4-5 hours): $650, up to 4 anglers, 725 if a fifth
All bait and tackle provide but feel free to bring your own stuff

THE BOAT and all other stuff!
I run a very comfortable Judge 27 Chesapeake. I’ve got a furnace on board for the cold months with a protected cabin and great seating for a comfortable full day adventure for all. My electronics is the latest greatest from Humminbird. I have two 13″ Apex models. Side imaging, down imaging, Mega 360 and Mega live make for some great opportunities to locate and catch fish consistently every day. Humminbird Radar insures our safety in the fog or running in the dark. A Minn Kota Quest 100″ shaft, 115lbs Thrust trolling motor is the biggest baddest trolling motor on the planet. It is a huge asset to our fishing success. I carry a variety of rods from medium action to heavy action to cover whatever fish situation we may run into. All rods are custom built for my guide service by Steve Fogle of Back Yard Custom Rods. Reels are all updated and fresh…..no rough working reels on the boat! I supply all baits we need to catch every fish we encounter, I maintain a stock of everything we need everyday!
Fishing shallow remote beautiful water is a favorite of mine that takes place from mid-march to mid-November. Nothing like catching beautiful Stripers and Specks remote with no boats in sight!
