The end has come for me in 2011 at the CBBT. It’s a year I won’t soon forget…..did 31 trips in 33 possible trips, just 2 cancels! Because of such a great weather pattern I think the CBBT will be in my winter future starting in the second week of January. Fishing should be off the hook in Jan-Feb……time will tell!
The last week at the CBBT was a good one….I saw calm seas, rough seas, easy bites and tough bites. All in all it was good and on 21 Dec it was great. Gannets and a ton of other birds lead us to the promised land. Lot’s and lot’s of big stripers to be had on light tackle. Was a dream day for me for sure…..for Jerry, Marty and Allan it was tired arms and unbelievable!!! The following video show’s that fact quite well.
